Before you get started

What is a breakout setup?

A stock may spend time trading in a range below a resistance level. BaseScout checks for that consolidation, a move above resistance, and later returns to test it. A setup describes price behaviour; it does not guarantee what happens next.

Are the prices live?

No. BaseScout uses completed trading days and completed weeks. During market hours, the latest result normally reflects the previous trading day. Each stock shows its data date, and delayed or incomplete data may keep an older result visible.

Does BaseScout recommend trades?

No. It organises price patterns for your review. It does not place orders or provide buy, sell, target-price or stop-loss recommendations. Use your own judgment and seek qualified advice when needed.
